"Avangard on Neva" series. The author of concept and the composer of this series is Isaak Kushnir. It is planned to publish more then 30 books including 7 books within the framework of the big series.

The art of E. Mikhnov should be related to the circle of phenomena, which reflect and transform a style arabesque of certain period of history. For Mikhnov such crucial time is the second half of 1950-s. At that time abstract and expressionistic painting was the cross-linking art in Europe and USA. This art trend grows from european avant-garde of 1910-1930s, impregnated by theosophical ideology, psychoanalysis and surrealism.
